Serviced Accommodation in
The Lake District
Scar View Cottage Lake District Serviced Accommodation in Butterwick offers a unique experience: red squirrels in the garden, a fairy tale castle nearby and starlit skies above – the perfect recipe for family fun!
Located in the picturesque Lowther Valley of the Eastern Lake District National Park, Scar View Butterwick is a converted barn which enjoys an idyllic position overlooking Knipe Scar Fell to the front, and over fells to the rear.
It is 6.8 miles from the town of Penrith and is close enough to the main Lake Land attractions to be accessible, whilst being perfectly tranquil and away from the crowds of the more well-known Lakeland towns. In the nearby Lowther estate at Askham, you’ll find a castle straight out of a fairy tale, with gardens and woodland play areas.
Sleeping 6 people in total, we have two beautiful double bedrooms and a twin room, all located up a flight of stairs. From every bedroom you can look out over the fields or garden without even getting out of bed. There is an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room and WC.
